You can address a message by typing a valid e-mail address on the To tab and other address tabs in the address window:
When you send a message to someone in your Address Book, you don't need to look up the address; Microsoft Outlook Express looks it up for you. When you start typing a name or e-mail address on the To, Cc, or Bcc tab of the address window, a menu appears that lists names and addresses in your Address Book that match the letters you have typed. As you type more letters, the list is updated to show only names that still match. You can click the correct recipient as soon as you see it on the list.
You can also look up people in your default directory service when you address the message. Just type the person's name, and then click Check Names.
